NICEHR is consultant-owned and operated. We work as a curated network, and we match consultants based on role requirements, prior project experience, and team fit.
NICEHR stands for National Independent Consultants of Electronic Health Records. It represents a nationwide network of independent healthcare IT professionals with experience across multiple EHR platforms.
Our consultants have expertise across all major EHR platforms including Epic, Cerner (Oracle Health), MEDITECH, Veradigm (formerly Allscripts), Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, GE Centricity, McKesson, and many others.
Every consultant in our network has completed 3-5 successful projects working alongside our founding team before receiving an invitation to join. We know their strengths, communication style, and work ethic firsthand. There are no exceptions to this vetting process.

Yes. Our consultants work both on-site and remotely based on project requirements. Many engagements utilize a hybrid model, with on-site presence during critical phases like go-live and remote support for ongoing optimization.
Timing depends on role, location, and start date. We move quickly because our network is pre-vetted and we maintain an active bench across common roles. DiSChedule can support matching by adding a behavioral-fit layer alongside skills and experience.
Engagement options include project-based consulting, staff augmentation, and managed services. Engagements range from short-term go-live support to multi-year engagements. Approach is tailored to specific needs and budget.
Revenue cycle services may be delivered by NICEHR teams and approved delivery partners under NICEHR oversight.

Veterans Program
NICEHR Bootcamp is a training program designed to prepare veterans and unemployed Americans for careers in healthcare IT. The program provides EHR training, hands-on experience with real systems, and a pathway to employment with client organizations.
